He was married in Nijmegen on March 8, 1965, at the age of 30 to
Johanna Gerardus Loduvicus van den Hoogen (aged 23 years), born in Grave on January 28, 1942, daughter of Ludovicus Hendrikus van den Hoogen and Theodora Hendrika Witjes.
